Well, well, well. What can be said about 1-1/2 hours of bowling, pizza, cake, presents and 7 kids under 5 … plus parents … plus 7 other birthday groups around, too?
Let the fun ensue!
We had Taylor’s birthday party on Saturday (5) – just before the ice came – at a new bowling alley in the area. BrunzwickZone XL (or something?) Smoke-free. Cosmic (or glow) bowling. Good, safe, fun place. I recommend it.
Here’s some of the action: (sorry ’bout the red-eye. my camera decided to take a Union break that afternoon … and I didn’t want to mess with post-fixing it)
Oh, and if you can’t tell – it was a Cardinals theme.
No, not that Snow … the white stuff … OK, that could be both. How about, snow: that comes from the north … no, that could be both, too.
Alright, enough bad-90’s pseudo-rap references. We got our first snow of the year yesterday and into the night.
Didn’t get much. Really just a dusting of snow at first, that then turned into sleet for a few hours, and then just cold to keep it there overnight. It’s already 37 degrees this morning, but as this melts away, there is supposedly another front on its way.
We didn’t get much, but Taylor and Jordan were jacked up about it!
And, yes, those tractors have been working out behind our house for about 6 months now clearing out everything behind us. When we first moved in, we couldn’t see the houses across the field. There were trees and field and undergrowth … now, it’s all been completely leveled.
But, hey, our first snow in our new city … St. Louis.
