Meet the Abercrombie’sJamon … Jen … Taylor … Jordan (and a few others sprinkled in)

Day 3 (Tuesday) in Memphis wasn’t too active in terms of planned activities. We all slept in a little, then went and had some sushi for lunch with Rayden and Donnie.

After lunch we headed downtown for some fun at Mud Island (where all these photos were taken). It was a fun time … most of it being the monorail to and from the island (minus the Tom Cruise action in The Firm).

Memphis dinner #3 – Jim ‘n Nick’s

Monday has been pretty filling. We started out the day by getting lost on our way to the Children’s Museum only to figure our we were only a few blocks away.

Children’s Museum of Memphis was great … especially for kids. They could touch and push and bang around on everything in there … didn’t really do so well for when we went to the Pink Palace Museum and IMAX though – IMAX Deep Sea wasn’t all that great.

Memphis dinner #3 – Interstate Barbecue (owned by the Neely family)

The first full day here in Memphis. We actually got here on Saturday, but that was check into the hotel, hit some barbecue for dinner and then head over to the Hollis’ for a little drive time recuperation.

Memphis dinner #1 – Corky’s

Woke up Sunday, went to church with Rayden and Sarah @ Forrest Hills Community Church. Went to lunch, boys took a nap (kind of), then we had a grill-out with Rayden, Sarah and the boys. Then it was back to the hotel for a little bit of pool time.

Memphis dinner #2 – Shogun’s

Tomorrow is either Children’s Museum, IMAX & Planetarium or Zoo.
